- June 4th, 2026, Thursday, 7:00-9:00 pm, the American School of Storytelling, 1762 Hennepin Avenue South, Minneapolis. This show focuses on music and the role it plays in As You Like It. More details about the venue and the show here. Liner notes here. The venue is located two blocks south of the Walker Art Center. We’ve deliberately picked a Thursday evening, which is the same night that the Walker is open for free after 5 pm.
- April 27th, 2026, Monday, 6-8 pm, Minneapolis Central Library at 300 Nicollet Mall – Room N-202. This is part of the Twin Cities Shakespeare Readers’ discussion of As You Like It. For more information, see the link. The discussion will focus primarily on staging problems for As You Like It, some of which can be addressed through music, which plays a prominent role in the play.

Premiering a new setting for sonnet 18 (“Shall I Compare…”) for an a cappella quartet. The program consists of twelve works by different composers and librettists. I have one setting in the twelve. A repeat of the show is on March 17th, 2026, Tuesday, 7:30 at Room 106 in the Schoenecker Center at the University of St Thomas, 2210 Summit Ave near Cretin Ave in Saint Paul. Tickets for either show are $10 or pay-what-you-can.
